31.10.2013 Applications invited for IOF ski orienteering events 2015-2017
The IOF invites all member federations to submit applications to organise the World Ski Orienteering Championships 2017, Ski Orienteering World Cup 2015-2016, Junior World Ski Orienteering Championships 2016 and World Masters Ski Orienteering Championships 2016.

29.10.2013 IOF High Level Event Seminar to be held in Sweden
The IOF, in cooperation with the Swedish Orienteering Federation, is pleased to announce the IOF High Level Event Seminar to be held 1-2 February in Gothenburg, Sweden.

28.10.2013 European Youth Orienteering Championships in sunny Portugal
The European Youth Orienteering Championships took place in Portugal 24-27 October. Altogether 362 athletes from 32 countries participated in the events in classes W/M 16 and 18.

25.10.2013 Asian Junior Orienteering Camp 2013
In 2008, the 1st Asian Orienteering Junior Training Camp was successfully held in Hong Kong. Over 30 junior orienteers from China, Japan and Hong Kong took part. Following this success, an orienteering training camp intended for Asian juniors is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from 24 to 28 December 2013.

The Council has appointed Portugal organiser of World Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships and Junior World Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships 2016, and World Masters Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships 2015.

19.10.2013 Estonia appointed organiser of World Orienteering Championships 2017
World Orienteering Championships 2017 have been awarded to Estonia. This is the first time ever Estonia organises World Orienteering Championships.

The IOF Council has at its meeting in Prague, Czech Republic, this morning approved Iran as an IOF member.
