Sweden took double gold in the PreO competition which concluded today, Michael Johansson winning the Paralympic class and Martin Fredholm the Open. Both scored full points on today’s course.

25.08.2016 Olav Lundanes is men’s champion
Olav Lundanes, Norway ran a superb race today on a very tough course to take victory by the impressive margin of 1.46. The silver medal went to Thierry Gueorgiou and the bronze to Daniel Hubmann – giving the same three medallists as in 2015.

25.08.2016 WOC Long Distance: Tove Alexandersson again victorious
The finish to the women’s race was intensely exciting as Tove Alexandersson, Sweden gradually closed on the time of Natalia Gemperle, Russia, and with her trademark strong finish on the last loop finally won by 26 seconds. Bronze medallist is Anne Margrethe Hausken Nordberg, Norway.
