05.10.2013 World Cup: another fine victory for Simone!
Simone Niggli achieved today what she wanted – a clear win in her final forest race at elite level. She was 1 minute and 37 seconds faster than her nearest rival on the day, Annika Billstam. The men’s race was dominated by the Swiss team who took the first five places, Daniel Hubmann winning by 26 seconds.

The fourth and final round of the World Cup takes place this weekend in and around Baden, Switzerland. There are two races, a Middle distance finishing in the town and the World Cup Final, a Sprint in the old town with its parks and castle which will be televised live on Swiss TV.

The IOF Council has appointed Croatia as the organiser of the 2015 World Trail Orienteering Championships. The competitions are planned to be held in the capital city, Zagreb.

The IOF Council has revised the categories and prizes for IOF World Cup. Changes will be implemented already for season 2014.
