02.03.2014 Sweden victorious in Mixed Sprint Relay
The first race in the new unofficial World Cup in Sprint took place today, a Mixed Sprint Relay held in the town of Kemer, south of Antalya on the Turkish Mediterranean coast. The winning team was from Sweden with a 19-second lead over Denmark at the finish.

01.03.2014 Swiss and Swedish dominance in first World Cup round
The Swiss men and Swedish women were at the forefront in yesterday’s qualification races in the first World Cup event of the new season in Turkey, and their dominance was emphasised again today. In the top six, four of the men were Swiss and three of the women were Swedish. The winners were Daniel Hubmann and Tove Alexandersson.

Orienteering is in a strong tail wind in Turkey! The country hosts its first major IOF Event this weekend, when the Orienteering World Cup Round 1 takes place in Antalya. In addition, the first-ever Turkish Ski Orienteering World Ranking Events were held a couple of weeks ago. Now ski orienteering has even made it on TV in Turkey.

26.02.2014 Turkey hosts World Cup opener
A new landmark in the growth of orienteering in Turkey will be set this weekend with the country hosting its first-ever World Cup event in any discipline. Twenty nations will be represented in a two-day World Cup Middle distance Qualification and Final competition, followed on Sunday by a Mixed Sprint Relay, the first race in the unofficial Sprint World Cup.
