30.07.2014 Organisers for season 2015-2016 ski orienteering events appointed
The IOF Council has appointed Germany as organiser of World Masters Ski Orienteering Championships 2016 and Austria as organiser of Junior World Ski Orienteering Championships in the same year. Ski Orienteering World Cup Rounds 2 and 3 will be held in conjunction with these two events while the season will begin with Round 1 in Lapland, Finland.

26.07.2014 JWOC Middle Distance Final: three gold medal winners!
A technically challenging Middle Distance Final in the Junior World Championships in Bulgaria ended today with two women gold medallists: Sina Tommer, Switzerland and Sara Hagström, Sweden recorded exactly the same time for the 3.1 km course. The men’s title went to Miika Kirmula, Finland.
