26.05.2016 World Cup MTBO: Good start for Benham and Foliforov
Round 1 of the 2016 MTB Orienteering World Cup has finished. Held in France, the event's programme included two exciting individual stages - Long and Middle - and a tightly contested Mixed Relay. At the beginning of a new season, Emily Benham and Anton Foliforov are the World Cup leaders.

Pavel Kurfürst, Czech Republic beat many more experienced competitors in taking victory in the TempO Final today at Jesenik Spa. The silver medal went to Martin Jullum, Norway and the bronze to Ján Furucz, Slovakia.

For Tove Alexandersson, today’s race was a historic triumph. For Daniel Hubmann it was yet another gold medal in the Long Distance.

24.05.2016 European TrailO Championships: Italy and Sweden win first-ever official Relay event
Italy came away with the Open class gold medals from the first competition in the TrailO Championships, a 3-person relay. Sweden finished in silver medal position, and bronze medallists were Slovakia. Sweden won the Paralympic class with the Czech Republic second and Russia third.

24.05.2016 EOC Long Distance: wins for Tove Alexandersson and Daniel Hubmann
The two big favourites for victory today turned out also to be the clear winners, Alexandersson by 41 seconds and Hubmann by 1.22. This was Tove Alexandersson’s first international championships gold medal; for Daniel Hubmann it was the fourth in a European Championships and third at Long Distance – the others were in 2010 and 2014.

23.05.2016 European Championships: hard Long Qualification race
Both Norway and Russia had two heat winners in today’s qualification races over Long Distance at Bilá Voda, Czech Republic, where the men’s race in particular was hard with only one athlete finishing in under 70 minutes. The other two heat winners were from the home country and Switzerland.
