Winner in wheelchair – our Athlete of September

A vein that burst, the compression, some major nerve segments irreversibly damaged and the lower body getting paralysed. A new life in a wheelchair has just begun.

Step by step, courageously and tenaciously, many doors and windows that seemed hopelessly closed, started to open. One of them is named Trail Orienteering. Eight years later, through this door, a golden light illuminates the lovely face of Jana Kosťová, currently the World Champion of Trail orienteering in the Paralympic Class.
