IOF Event Advisors Clinic held in Alicante

During the weekend 12th to 14th of November IOF’s FootO Commission conducted an IOF Event Adviser Clinic in La Marina, Alicante in Spain. Many different areas was covered during the clinic, such as IOF Structure, IOF Events, IOF Competition Rules as well as the different formats within foot orienteering.

Marta Armisén, from the Spanish orienteering federation, FEDO, was taking care of the organisational matters, while Unni Strand Karlsen was responsible for the content and leading the clinic.

The discussions were good during the whole clinic with many questions – and there was a good mix of younger and older, more experienced orienteers among the participants.

This clinic has become a reality thanks to the support of Women & Sport Program of Spanish Sport Council (Consejo Superior de Deportes) and the Spanish Olympic Committee.
