Follow the European Orienteering Championships live

The highlight of the spring season, according to many, is due to kick off this weekend, and the spotlight will be fixed on the Czech Republic and the European Orienteering Championships.

At the moment, the following schedule is agreed with Czech TV

Sprint relay, Saturday 21 May 2016, 12:30 – 13:45, Bruntál

Sprint final, Sunday 22 May 2016, 16:00 – 18:05, Lázně Jeseník

Middle final, Friday 27 May 2016, 13:45 – 17:45, Černá Voda

Relay, Saturday 28 May 2016, 10:00 – 14:00, Červená Voda

From all the above listed races, Czech TV will provide a live broadcast. This will be available for free on Czech TV website when accessing from Czech IP addresses only. However paid access – for 4 EUR per race – will be offered worldwide through IOF Live Center, with English spoken commentary by Jörn Sundby.

TV broadcast on Czech TV channel 4 will be partly live (sprint relay, middle women, relay) and partly at later hours (sprint Monday 22:20 – Tuesday 0:20, middle men Friday 20:10 – 21:45).

Some TVs from abroad will purchase rights for these broadcasts, however it depends on their decision, how/if they will publish it.

GPS tracking will be available for free when accessing from anywhere.
