Be a part of LIVE Orienteering – audition as commentator

LIVE Orienteering is the IOFs new platform for external communication about orienteering, the place to live orienteering. IOF Events most often have a live streaming production sent out via LIVE Orienteering and we are now looking for future commentators. A commentating team is made up of 2 persons, a ”play-by-play” commentator and an expert to give analysis and background information about the competition. All commentating is done in English. The IOF has some funds available for travel and living expenses in connection with events.

If you would like to be a part of making great LIVE Orienteering productions send us your ”Commentating CV”. It could just be a list of commentating you have done in the past or an audio or video file to show your skills.

Age and gender aren’t key evaluation criteria although we hope to find a good mix. The most important factor is being able to communicate the sport of orienteering to both nerds and newcomers in an enthusiastic way. Send in your show of interest to iof@orienteering.org  by April 1st, 2017. Selected candidates may be asked to audition.
