The SportAccord General Assembly has just elected Marius Vizer (President of the International Judo Federation) new President of SportAccord. Vizer succeeds Hein Verbruggen, who decided to step down as President.

The new unofficial European Cup in Trail Orienteering kicked off in Norway four weeks ago. The second round took place in Kokemäki, Finland, about 80 km north of Turku on Saturday and in Nousiainen about 20 km from Turku on Sunday.

20.05.2013 Registration for IOF Trail Orienteering Event Advisers’ Clinic in Folgaria has started
The IOF Trail and Rules Commissions in cooperation with the World Trail Orienteering Championships (WTOC) 2014 organiser will be organising an IOF Trail Orienteering Event Advisers' Clinic in Folgaria, Italy, during 20-21 June 2013. The clinic will take place in conjunction with the Italian PreO Championships, and clinic participants will have free entrance to the official Pre-WTOC training camp.

The IOF Rules Commission will be organising an IOF Foot Orienteering Event Advisers' Clinic in conjunction with the World Masters Orienteering Championships 2013 in Sestriere, Italy. The more specific clinic date is 6 August which is a rest day for the World Masters competitors.
